Bogner Amps were born when Edward Van Halen entrusted Reinhold Bogner to overhaul and revitalize his iconic Marshall Plexi. The Bogners Pack features 6 presets of two world known boutique Bogner amps that raised the standards both for rich clean tones and creamy overdrives: The Shiva and the XTC Ecstasy 101B, with two words describing them. Elegant and Exceptional!
In 1992, Reinhold released the Ecstasy amplifier which was the epicenter for a new era of boutique amplifiers, and this was just the beginning. The Ecstasy series heads were designed to breath like sweet old amps...all living in one box. This beauty is able to deliver 3 distinctly voiced channels that can be radically morphed into sounds of the past, present and future while its different power amp options give even more flexibility.
The Shiva is on the other hand a masterful study of refined elegance, providing the synergy of one's heart and hands. Featuring two highly evolved channels, capable of clean tones that shimmer like icicles in the deep of winter moonlight and tube saturation that is so rich and powerful it should be illegal in the free world.
This preset is best used when connected to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker as it has cab sim (IR) enabled. If you intend to use it with an amp and cabinet please disable the amp/cab block.
The Bogners Pack consists of 6 LIVE (gig/rehearsal) and 6 STUDIO (recording/bedroom) presets with dedicated Impulse Responses for each preset. In order to fully get the best out of the device's capabilities, ALL presets have extra functions. You can try them by turning ON effects that are OFF and also by engaging the EXP pedal.
