Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face Capture | IK Multimedia ToneX

Capture of the ULTRA RARE Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face (produced in 1969) going into the preamp of a Fender Dual Showman Reverb and a Mesa Boogie Mark III. Originally developed by J & I Arbiter Ltd., the Fuzz Face was presented in August 1966 at the British Musical Instrument Industries trade fair and was already available in the shops by November 1966, when Jimi Hendrix was photographed performing with one. Other famous artists known to use the Fuzz Face include David Gilmour, Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pete Townshed, Eric Johnson and George Harrison!

The Fuzz Face has a low input impedance and thus is very sensitive to the guitar pickup. By rolling the volume knob, the guitar player can decrease the gain of the pedal and get a clean or crunch sound, while still having all the gain when the volume knob is on maximum. For the same reason, Fuzz Face pedals react differently when placed directly after the guitar than when after other pedals or after a buffer amplifier.

This preset can be used either with a Power Amp (or the FX Loop of an Amp) and a Cabinet or straight to an Audio Interface, PA Speakers or FRFR. If you intend to use a Power Amp and Cabinet, please turn OFF the pedal's CAB SIM. Includes both STUDIO and LIVE  NVA Matching Cabinet Impulse Responses. 

ALL INCLUDED CAPTURES ARE DI CAPTURES, meaning that you can either use them with your ToneX pedal and a power amp/cabinet or select any Stock Cab/IR of your choice when connected to FRFR/PA Speakers or Audio Interface (using either the ToneX pedal or the ToneX Plugin). Comes with a NVA Custom Alnico Cream IR and a NVA Custom V30 IR plus a Bonus Bass IR!
