Electric with piezo | Line 6 HX Effects

In this preset you will find a really useful plug and play sound for your electric guitar with piezo.

Plug your magnetics signal cable in “INPUT” of your HX Effects, while your piezo signal cable must be plugged in “RETURN 1”.

Let the signal toggle switch on your guitar in middle position (both magnetics and piezo must be turned on), then you can decide which of the signal (only piezo, only magnetics, both piezo and magnetics) will go out of your HX Effects.

Magnetics signal with effects will go straight away to “OUTPUT” of your HX Effects, so connect your jack cable from “OUTPUT” directly to your guitar amp.

Piezo signal with effects will go straight away to “SEND 1” of your HX Effects, so connect your jack cable from “SEND 1” directly to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker for best results.

What you will listen out of your HX Effects can be decided using the 4 Snapshots:

• CLEAN + PIEZO: Piezo signal + Magnetics clean sound with Chorus and Delay
• PIEZO: Only Piezo signal
• ELEC: Only Magnetics with Distortion engaged
• ELEC OD: Only Magnetics with Distortion engaged + Overdrive, Boost, Chorus and Delay (perfect for Solos)

If you push MODE footswitch on your HX Effects you can have access to more effects in the chain and you can choose which one activate, and this setting will be temporarily stored for each snapshot.

This preset is best used connecting “OUTPUT” to a guitar amp and “SEND 1” to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker.
