The entry of Marshall into the preamp world made a great impact among guitar players. Slayer build their tone around this preamp, while Judas Priest guitars were screaming in Painkiller generating classic Marshall tones. This Amp Pack includes the above tones but also provides hair metal, rock and crunch tones. Heavy metal players will enjoy this pack and the included IR based Profiles (eight in total) giving them classic power amp – cab combinations and all the legendary heavy tones this preamp can generate. Rockers will enjoy this pack also, finding classic Marshall crunchy rock tones and the famous singing leads.
This preset is best used when connected to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker as it has cab sim (IR) enabled. If you intend to use it with an amp and cabinet please disable the amp/cab block.
Also compatible with the MX5 (except for some footswitch assignments). Does not include Amp Cloning for the Prime. You need to use the included IRs in order for the Amp Pack to work correctly.
