Tone capture of the fully modern beast, the Orange TH30. The TH30 has proven to be one of the most popular heads in the Orange range, and for good reason. With jangly cleans and high-gain filth coexisting in perfect harmony, the sheer range of tones that can be dialed in from just six controls is nothing short of jaw-dropping. A quartet of EL84 valves bring their unique, crisp character and switchable output power can be used to tailor the amp’s natural overdrive to any situation.
There’s more than enough gain on tap to effortlessly coax searing lead tones and willing feedback from the Orange TH30, but the Dirty channel cleans up sweetly for vintage blues and crunch tones as desired. Set to Clean, the TH30 is impressively clear and sparkly, with shed loads of headroom and plenty of classic Brit chime.
This preset is best used with a power amp (or the FX Loop of an amp) and a cabinet. If you don't intend to use a cabinet please turn on cab sim and either select one of the stock cab sims or use one of the included matched cabinet IRs. This tone capture comes with an Orange PPC212 COB 2x12 IR with two more tube variations!
