Capture of the genuine Victory V4 The Kraken. Definitely no 'ordinary' overdrive pedal, V4 The Kraken is a two-channel pedal preamp that delivers genuine all-valve overdrive. Use it straight into the front of your amp or recording interface, or alternatively use it in conjunction with your amp's FX loop to bypass the front end of your existing amp entirely for a whole new sound experience.
The Victory V4 The Kraken Pedal provides two channels with common 3-Band tone control and a global bright switch, which can be used to create modern Rock - and Metal -sounds of the highest quality. In addition, the Preamp Pedal "Standalone" mode and the " Amp Through" mode offer two options for connecting to the guitar amplifier. With a tight low-end response, the V4 Kraken pedal will accentuate your picking attack to ensure a dynamic and immediate feel. Developed with Rabea Massaad, the heavy, percussive tones synonymous with his distinctive playing style can be attained easily, thanks to this incredible pedal.
Just like its namesake amp, Gain 1 is a slightly looser more 'vintage' British-inspired gain sound. Gain 2 is tighter in the bass with a more cutting midrange character and, of course, more drive. V4 The Kraken features powerful bass, middle and treble controls that also have a significant effect on the gain character and drive levels – just like in any valve guitar amp. Release the Kraken!
This preset can be used either with a Power Amp (or the FX Loop of an Amp) and a Cabinet or straight to an Audio Interface, PA Speakers or FRFR. If you intend to use a Power Amp and Cabinet, please turn OFF the pedal's CAB SIM. Includes both STUDIO and LIVE NVA Matching Cabinet Impulse Responses.
ALL INCLUDED CAPTURES ARE DI CAPTURES, meaning that you can either use them with your ToneX pedal and a power amp/cabinet or select any Stock Cab/IR of your choice when connected to FRFR/PA Speakers or Audio Interface (using either the ToneX pedal or the ToneX Plugin). Comes with a Victory V212-VV 2x12 IR and a Victory V112 VB Gold 1x12 IR!
