This tone is built on the Ampeg SVT-4 PRO. It offers the classic warm, clean, and “woody” sound we love from bass guitar. It has a small bit of compression which tightens the sound and makes it easier to play, since you are not “fighting” against the strings. It works great for jazz, funk, RnB & soul. You could easily add an effect block, if you are looking for something specific.
This Preset is built on studio monitors and headphones and will work as intended on PA/FRFR speakers. If you intend to use it with a cab, remember to turn off the two cab blocks.
